Wonderful winter days without restrictions

Vorarlberg is ready for winter season 2021/2022. With the "Winterkodex Vorarlberg" the province is bundling its forces and measures with the common goal of offering all guests a special level of safety. Travelers should feel in good hands everywhere: whether in the hotel, in the restaurant, in the gondola or in the respective vacation region. 

From 5 March nearly all regulations will be lifted.

Further on, from most European and many other countries, entry is possible without quarantine as long as the 3 G Rule is kept. There is a general registration obligation before entering Austria ("Pre-Travel Clearance"). The registration is not required for guests arriving from a country with a low epidemiological risk, in combination with proof of vaccination, recovery proof or a valid test (PCR test is valid for 72 hours and professional lateral flow test is valid for 24 hours). The 3 G Rule does not apply to guests under 12 years. From 1  February 2022, proof of vaccination is only valid for 180 days from the date of the second vaccination. This applies to proof of recovery as well, at the earliest from the 11th day after the first molecularly confirmed infection. The vaccination certificate for people that are recovered and vaccinated one time is valid for 180 days from the date of the vaccination. Any additional vaccination or 2 vaccinations with proof of recovery continue to be valid for 270 days. Vaccinated people with Johnson & Johnson need a second dose to have a valid vaccination certificate from 3 January 2022.

From tomorrow, covid certificate or registration are not needed anymore when entering hotels, gastronomy, or shops.

From 26 March wearing a FFP2 mask is mandatory again in closed rooms and public transportation including cable cars. 

The curfew for restaurants and bars will end tomorrow and après ski will be possible again as well as night gastronomy, stand-up gastronomy, and bar operations.

HEALTHY STAYS AT THURNHER’S ALPENHOF

The health of our guests and employees is our highest priority. Therefore, we can guarantee healthy stays with our improved hygiene standards and processes in our hotel. 

All our employees are vaccinated our team is fully trained regarding the new hygiene and cleaning standards. 

The entire arrival and departure process will be made as efficient and contact-free as possible. For the health of our guests and in order to maintain the minimum distance, we will waive a handshake this season and welcome all travelers with our usual warmth. Upon request, we are pleased to provide free covid-19 rapid tests or organize PCR testing for extra charge. 

In our gourmet restaurant as well as our bar and lounge area we will place our tables with sufficient distance, so that all guests can eat their meals without worry.

The spa and fitness area is available to our guests in consideration of current covid regulations. Our spa therapist will be available for our guests by appointment and under the appropriate hygiene regulations. 

We are in continual contact with the municipality and authorities. We would like to point out, that the precautions and regulations can change at any time. In any case, our guests will be informed about all measures before arrival.
